Returning a product is as easy as 1, 2, 3!

We want you to be happy with your purchase from Cranky’s Bike Shop. If you are not satisfied ,we will gladly do a refund on products and services within 30 days of purchase.

Holiday Layaway Details

Buy now and we will hide your bike until the holidays! Our layaway program is for bikes only (you can only put accessories/ parts on layaway if they are being purchased with a bike). To participate in the layaway program, you must put 30% of the total price down (including GST) and then you have 60 days to pay off the remaining balance. The bike will stay at the store until the balance is fully paid.

1. What is your return policy?

We accept returns and exchanges on unused and undamaged products within 30 days of purchase*. Bikes and all other products must be in like new condition to be returned. If you purchased in-store, simply bring in the item and the original receipt to receive a refund or exchange. All refunds must be applied to the original form of payment. Exchange or a Cranky's Bike Shop gift card will be given on items returned with a gift receipt. Online Orders that were charged shipping will receive a refund for the order total minus shipping fees. 

*Special order bikes are subject to a 15% re-stocking fee. Financed bikes are a final sale.

Holiday Return Policy:  Items purchased for Christmas may be returned or exchanged until January 23rd, 2021. Items returned with a gift receipt will receive a gift card.

2. I picked up my online order in-store. How do I return it?

Please visit us at either location to facilitate a return. Items purchased for in-store pick-up are subject to the same return policy guidelines. 

3. Will I be charged any fees to return product(s)?

There are no fees to return most products* that have been shipped if it is being returned within 30 days of purchase. Once you submit a return request, we will send you an RA number and a return shipping label via Purolator with no cost to you. Please try to use the smallest most appropriate sized box for the item(s) you are returning.

*excludes: Bicycles, Bicycle Wheels, Car Racks, Indoor Trainers and Thule Chariots

4. When do I get my money back?

After we receive the item(s) and complete an inspection Cranky's will issue a refund to the original form of payment. We will send you an e-mail confirming the amount was returned. Please note your return can take up to 10 business days to show up on your statement depending on your financial institution.
